How are you
A successful AGM was held in Port Shepstone over the weekend of 05-07 September 2014. Your new Executive Council for the year 2014/15 is: Peter Brauteseth – President; John Marshall – Vice President; Andre de Villiers – 2nd Vice President; Frans Henning Treasurer; Zeet Borrageiro – Regalia; Koos Coetsee – IPP/IRO and Yap Convener and then of course on the side you have me as your Webmaster. For full information on the Exec and the District Councillors CLICK HERE! Please feel free to contact the councillor in your district to join the Association.
Subs will increase to R330.00 per member. I am sure that you will be receiving your invoices from the Treasurer shortly. As at the AGM we had 277 paid up members, so well done to Past President Koos and his council for achieving that. The new council has set a target at increasing membership by a further 10% for the year 2015, which is a realistic increase…hopefully it will be higher. That would then put the Association on a membership of around 300 members. CLICK HERE to view some of the photos from the AGM 2014.
The first Exec Council meeting will be held in Kirkwood, East London on the weekend of the 07-09 November 2014…if you are in the area and would like to join the Exec for the meeting, please feel free to do so.
As you would have noticed I have stepped down as the YAP Convener and Past President Koos Coetsee is the new YAP Convener. If you would like your kids to take part in the outgoing tour during June/July 2015, please download the application forms CLICK HERE and email to Koos at kooscoetsee7@gmail.com
Both the incoming and outgoing YAP Tours of 2014 were a great success and a HUGE THANK YOU must go to all those that have assisted with hosting and arranging the tour, without you guys there would be no tour. On a personal note an ENORMOUS THANK YOU to all those that have assisted me with the YAP TOURS over the past 6 years and I wish Koos and all the future YAP Conveners all the success. I will always be available for advice.
